One shop, one car, no rushed panel
LustrAuto has worked in Ahuntsic-Cartierville for twelve years, in a closed bay where temperature and dust are controlled — because detailing is judged by what still looks right two years later.
Why everything happens indoors
Polish that flashes under the sun burns the clear coat; dust that lands on fresh ceramic stays sealed in it for years. The shop works in a closed bay, floor washed before every car, air kept clean, temperature held between 18 and 24 °C. Every panel is checked under daylight lamps before pickup — the same light a car is judged under on a Montreal street.
One car occupies the bay at a time. It caps how many vehicles come through each week, and it is deliberate: the car that enters Monday morning is the same one that leaves Tuesday night, and the person who worked it knows every panel.
What we do not hide
A scratch deeper than the clear coat, a headlight reflector cloudy from the inside, rust bleeding from a stone chip: everything the inspection finds is shown to you before work starts, on the car, under the lamp. You decide what gets corrected. Polishing does not fill a scratch and no ceramic coating repairs dead paint — saying it up front beats an argument after.
The written warranty
The ceramic coating carries a written two-year warranty: a free annual inspection checks the layer's condition and redone at no charge any area where the hydrophobic effect weakens. The warranty holds as long as the car comes back for those inspections — that is what separates it from a verbal promise that evaporates with the first winter.
